A procession of lights full of tradition in Effretikon

In Switzerland, Räbeliechtli is an autumnal festival that brightens up the cold nights. During this celebration, children often carry lanterns made from turnips or pumpkins to greet the fall in a bright procession. At our Hands for Kids daycare center, the lanterns are made of paper, as the tools used for carving might be too dangerous for the little ones.

A special invitation to parents

Our children have enthusiastically customized their lanterns and prepared for the procession, where they will sing traditional songs to fill the streets with joy. We warmly invite parents to join us on this magical walk through Effretikon – an opportunity to come together as a family and enjoy the unique atmosphere of light and smiles that makes up this festival.

Warmth for body and soul

To brave the cold, our employees lovingly prepared a delicious homemade pumpkin soup that brings us together and strengthens our sense of community.

We look forward to having you with us at this special event, where the light, tradition and joy of our children illuminate the streets of Effretikon and bring them to life!
