Für unsere deutschsprachige Kita-Gruppe suchen wir eine engagierte Gruppenleitung (Fachperson Betreuung Kind). Die Ausbildung der Lernenden in unserer Einrichtung ist auch Bestandteil dieser Position. The training of apprentices within our setting is also part of this role.

Main Responsibilities
– Lead the German-speaking, mixed-age group from an educational perspective.
– Take responsibility for the training of all apprentices across the institution.
– Ensure age-appropriate and individualised support in accordance with our educational concept.
– Contribute to the design and development of our pedagogical approach and actively participate in the implementation of concepts.
– Work closely with the team, parents, and management to ensure high-quality care.

Your Profile
– Completed training as a childcare professional or a comparable qualification.
– Several years of experience in group leadership, ideally with mixed-age groups.
– Proven experience in training and guiding apprentices.
– Excellent German language skills, both spoken and written (C1 level or higher).
– English skills are a significant advantage.
– High professional competence, organisational skills, and empathy for children of various age groups.
– A committed personality with a passion for taking on responsibility and contributing innovative pedagogical approaches.

About us
Hands for Kids Kinderkrippe & Hort is a private company that has set itself the goal of expanding family childcare at an attractive location. We are in the immediate vicinity of Effretikon train station. The SBB station is only 50 m away. We have over 300 m2 of light-flooded rooms at our disposal, as well as a spacious outdoor playground, which we have equipped and extended to suit children. We provide delicious and healthy menus for the children and the entire staff every day. The crèche is designed for 2 groups (DE/EN). We also have a day nursery with one group. The opening hours are from 7.00 a.m to 18:30 p.m.

Tasks
– Organization and management of the after-school care group
– Planning and implementation of educational activities for children in after-school care
– Communication and cooperation with parents and guardians
– Development and implementation of educational concepts
– Documentation and evaluation of educational work
– Management and guidance of assigned employees (interns, apprentices)

Qualifications
– You have completed training as a childcare specialist EFZ, specializing in childcare, or early childhood educator:in or equivalent training (attach SERI recognition)
– Experience in childcare or a similar field
– Communication skills and teamwork
– Driving license for car available (driving service)
– Knowledge of English an advantage
