Registration for the daycare is confirmed once the care contract is signed and the deposit is paid. The placement is considered final once these steps are completed.
Parents are not allowed to bring sick children (e.g., with high fever or contagious illnesses) to the daycare. If a child becomes ill during their stay, the parents will be contacted immediately and asked to pick up the child.
The orientation period lasts approximately two weeks. It begins with a gradually increasing presence of the child at the daycare. The orientation is charged at a flat rate of CHF 300.-.
Health insurance, accident insurance, and liability insurance for the child are the responsibility of the parents. The daycare is not liable for damage to or loss of personal valuables.
Parents should notify the daycare as early as possible if their child will be absent due to illness, holidays, or other reasons.
The monthly fee is due on the 28th of the preceding month and must be paid via standing order, either semi-annually (1.5% discount) or annually (3% discount) to the daycare’s account. The full monthly fee is payable even during holiday absences or illness.
The placement can be cancelled with three months' written notice, sent via registered mail, and is effective at the end of the calendar month. If the notice period is not observed, the full monthly fee will be charged for its duration.
Yes, if multiple children from the same family attend the daycare, a 10% sibling discount is offered on the regular daily rate. The discount applies to the lower fee and is only valid as long as all siblings continue to attend the daycare.
If parents wish to have their child cared for beyond their regular days, additional care can be arranged in consultation with the daycare management. Extra care will be charged separately.
Yes, a deposit of CHF 1,000.- is required before final admission. For each additional child, the deposit is CHF 900.-. This amount will be refunded without interest upon termination of the care contract, unless an alternative solution for the child is found.
